Classification Talk

Roberto Diaz just joined our club and is transferring from the Pharr, TX Rotary.  He will do a classification talk.

Roberto Diaz serves as the Laredo Regional Lending Executive at Rio Bank, bringing nearly 25 years of specialized experience in corporate lending. Throughout his career, Roberto has earned a reputation for delivering strategic financial solutions, cultivating long-term client relationships, and leading with integrity and vision.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Tec de Monterrey, an MBA in International Banking from Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), and is a graduate of the prestigious Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University (SMU).

A resident of Laredo for almost 25 years, Roberto is deeply engaged in the local community. He served as Treasurer of the South Texas Food Bank for over a decade and has been an active member of Rotary International since 2007. As a charter of the Next Generation Rotary Club, he continues a proud family tradition- his mother is a committed Rotarian, and his late grandfather was a proud member of the Rotary Club of Matamoros.

Roberto has been happily married for over 15 years to his beautiful and hard-working wife, Consuelo, and together they are the proud parents of two beautiful children, Ana Victoria and Beto.

Roberto continues to demonstrate his commitment to the banking industry and community service through his professional excellence and civic engagement across South Texas.
