Born and Raised in Laredo Texas.  Attended local schools graduated from J.W. Nixon High School, Laredo Jr. College, and have a BBA and an MBA from Laredo State University (now TAMIU).

Was inducted and became a proud member of the Laredo Rotary Club Oct. 22, 2014

Served as the President of the Laredo Rotary Club for the 2018-19 Rotary Year. As the President he was awarded the Superstar Award for District 5930 by Governor Andy Hagan. Under his leadership the Laredo Rotary club earned Presidential and Governors citation awards and the club maintained its premier status in the district.

Rogelio has a Paul Harris +2 fellowship

Graduate of the first District 5930 Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI)

Certified as a Rotary Leadership Institute instructor

Selected to Serve as the Area 12 Assistant Governor for Rotary Years 2021 – 2024.

And in real Life:

Rogelio is the Executive Director for Workforce Solutions for South Texas where he has worked for 38 years. Mr. Trevino has been instrumental in the implementation of the local workforce development system in the South Texas Workforce Development Area.  Under his administration the South Texas Workforce Development System has developed into a comprehensive business driven system partnering with local, state, regional, and federal organizations to ensure that the labor force in South Texas remains competitive and job ready.  

   He is the proud Father of two children, Rogelio Jr. who is a Laredo Fire Academy Cadet, and Marisela Trevino who is a Registered Nurse works in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Laredo Medical Center.  He is now the very PROUD grandfather of three grandchildrent wo boys Rogelio Trevino III (RG3) who is four years old, Gabriel Valadez Jr. who is 2 years old, and Kylie Rae Trevino who is two months old.
